Story:

MudMasons emerges from a journey of remembrance, a homecoming. Reconsidering our disrupted relationship to nature and non-humans, the ever more present urge to create an authentic way of inhabiting the landscape becomes an impetus behind our story.

Moving away from the colonial extractive narratives of the human-ecology entanglement, we tend to tell - and re-tell - stories that encourage a more symbiotic relationship, more malleable ways of relating, more like mud.

Ancient and Indigenous wisdom guide us in building in alignment with the Earth, offering practical pathways toward spatial practices that are grounded, relational, and restorative.

Through three Modes of Action, Shared Learning, Ways of Being, and Design + Make, we co-create residencies, workshops, immersive programmes, research initiatives, and spaces that bring this mission to life.
